Zach LaVine pushes female PR worker after Bulls-Heat game
Zach LaVine was traded to the Chicago Bulls in 2017 and the team has struggled in his time playing for them. When DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball joined the Bulls, it looked like they had their own Big Three. However, injuries have decimated those ideas. In turn, the Bulls are currently 5-9, sitting in the twelfth spot in the Eastern Conference. Despite their recent win over the Miami Heat, an upset LaVine ended up pushing a woman working PR. As a result, he is facing much backlash.
Zach LaVine is one of the most electrifying players in the NBA. He was only traded to the Bulls, due to the Minnesota Timberwolves trading for Jimmy Butler. Eventually, Butler found a home with the Miami Heat. Since 2019, he has led the Heat to the NBA Finals twice, and was within one win of the Finals in the 2022 season. During this same span of time, LaVine’s Bulls have been a fringe playoff team, qualifying in 2022.
Zach LaVine currently finds himself in the middle of trade rumors. Among the teams he’s reportedly interested in playing for include the Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, and Philadelphia 76ers. Meanwhile, fans of the Bulls have grown frustrated with him. Despite playing his heart out, the Bulls are not winning very many games. That said, the Bulls did snap the Miami Heat’s winning streak. But with everything going on, LaVine is still frustrated. This showed when he pushed the PR woman, leaving the Heat game.
