The good old boom-bap.
So glad there’s still people crafting songs in that style – raw drums, sampled melodies & a nostalgic feel. “Army Jacket” by Finnish producer Teemu Nätynki is spot-on and it certainly took me back in time with its mesmerizing keys, synths & head-nodding beat.
I love how he explains it: “Think about New York City streets in the 90’s. Capone and Noreaga rapping. Prodigy and Havoc too. All wearing army fatigues.”
