Paula Jai Parker calls Cassie a demon over Diddy accusations
Paula Jai Parker was one of the stars of the 1990s and was on “The Proud Family.” However, in the 2000s, and the 2010s, she faded from relevance. According to Parker, she was blackballed after she got married. But in recent years, she has returned to the spotlight. Earlier this year, she announced a new movie she’s in. This afternoon, Paula Jai Parker inserted herself into the Cassie-Diddy situation. She is saying she can’t see Cassie being the victim in this situation.
Paula Jai Parker may have never been an A-list actress, but she was a fixture in the 1990s. Parker had roles in such classics as Friday and “The Wayans Bros.” However, through most of her career, she played supporting roles. The most-recognizable role Parker had, on a mainstream level, came when she voiced the character of ‘Trudy Proud,’ on Disney Channel’s “The Proud Family.” Parker reprised this role, when the show was rebooted for Disney+.
Paula Jai Parker has discussed her new work, earlier this year. However, she’s gained far more attention for her commentary about Cassie and Diddy. By now, most are aware of Cassie accusing Diddy of rape, assault, and a host of other crimes. As a result, Cassie is filing a federal lawsuit for $30 million, which is aimed at Diddy. After watching this story play out, Paula Jai Parker spoke out saying Cassie could have said “no,” she expected to get married, and called her a “demon.”
