Anjunadeep’s sublabel, Reflections, has recently released a compilation of emotionally rich and immersive tracks, and one of the gems you’ll find on there is Odeon’s rendition of “You”.
Odeon is a sound designer, multi-instrumentalist, and live performer based in Rome, Italy. Even though he only started putting out music last year, his sound already bears a resemblance to icons like Fakear and Catching Flies. His remix of “You” is a superb example of this with its organic textures laced over gritty drums and sparkly synth embellishments. The folk-like vocal sample not only adds vitality to the track but also serves as a memorable and catchy motif.
