Man caught shoplifting by undercover Walmart worker
During the holiday season, shoplifters are out in abundance, as it’s easier to blend in. As a result, stores have to be more vigilant in protecting their products. Throughout the year, Walmart has become a more frequent target for thieves. With that being said, Walmart has openly considered closing many of their stores. But one Walmart location was smart about handling things. When a customer was suspected of shoplifting, an employee working undercover stopped him.
Because Walmart is such a large retailer, they do have some people working undercover. In some locations, there are people walking around in regular street clothes. To blend in, they partake in casual conversation with the customers. However, the entire time, they are keeping an eye out to make sure nothing out of place happens. In the event that something does go awry, they’re not too far away to prevent things from escalating.
There was a man shopping in Walmart, but he was suspected of shoplifting. When he was on his way out, the man ended up being confronted by a man at the exit. After being stopped by the man, he reached in his shirt and pulled out his Walmart badge. It turns out, the man was an employee working undercover, and he found someone doing wrong. As a result, the people stopped the man before he left the store, and searched through his items and his receipts.
