Based on a true story originally featured in an article by Jonathan Harr in The New Yorker, this film has all the ingredients to become a showstopper. “The Burial” promises to be a high-stakes drama with a sprinkle of comedy and a touch of inspiration. The synopsis sets the stage: “Inspired by true events,
‘The Burial’ follows a lawyer as he assists a funeral homeowner in a battle to save his family business from a corporate giant. Along the way, a complex web of race, power, and injustice is unveiled.”
