Halle Berry says Drake used “Slime You Out” cover after saying no
Last week, Drake released his new “Slime You Out” single. Furthermore, it also included a huge feature from SZA. That came after the two teased the collaboration, several nights before. Moreover, Slime You Out is also challenging to debut at number one in the US this week, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The original cover art for Slime You Out also featured Halle Berry getting “slimed” on in 2012, at the Nickelodeon Teen Choice Awards. However, Berry called out Drake for using this cover, without permission. The actress added that Drake never received permission to do so, and that she thought better of him. She even noted how Drake is someone she admired, but disappointed her. But, she also stated how she has to simply be the bigger person and move on.
Meanwhile, Berry is now addressing the Drake issue, once again, on Instagram. In her comments section, she replied to a follower and explained that Drake used the photo of her, even after she denied him permission to do so.
