We recently sat down with Lower East Side artist/entrepreneur Vero G to discuss her latest project and plans for the future. Check out how it went down here at Rap Olympus Media.
Who inspired you to start creating?
My family inspired my passion for performing. Using my personal experiences to heal others through my music became my drive.
What separates you from other artists?
I feel my unique style of music makes me stand out from others. I respect all artists and their artistry, but with my journey, I want to uplift others and help those going through trying times.
Where do you see your career in the next couple of years?
I see myself working harder to open more doors for myself and others on the platforms I’ve created, from TV, media, magazines, radio, and much more.
Are there any other artists you would like to work with down the road?
Yes, there are a few artists I’ve shown interest in working with. Eventually, I would love to work with Neyo and other established artists.

Can you tell us about your most recent project?
My new single, “Gone Too Soon” (produced by Real Lyricez), has over 2.8k streams on all digital streaming platforms. The song is very dear to me. Over a year ago, I lost an unborn child. The experience was difficult for me to overcome. I wanted to address the situation in my new song to help others who may have suffered the same loss. I want them to understand that they are not alone. “Gone Too Soon” is now runner-up for the R&B category at the 8th LDM Awards. If anyone would like to place a vote at www.ldmradio.com, I would very much appreciate it.
Anything else you would like to share with us?
I’m officially a member of the ISSA organization (International Songwriters-Singers Association), Songwriters Hall Of Fame 2023, and the SGA (Songwriters Guild Association). Stay tuned for my 5th EP, “Energy,” dropping later this year. I plan on doing more collaborations, music videos, and different projects in the coming future.
