king ak examines Utopia…
DJ Akademiks Talks Travis Scott Not Responding Astrowrold Controversy, as La’Flame has released his long-awaited UTOPIA album. Considering this is the first project from Travis in almost five years, it was bound to have some type of criticism. Akademiks decided to have a live-listen with the public and give his first thoughts on the project.
While some may have forgotten, Travis first addressed everything in his conversation with Charlamagne Tha God a year and a half ago. He addressed the tragedies at the Astrowrold Festival from November 2021, which led to his exile from the general public for many months. However, Big Ak felt Travis should’ve put everything into song format, to give the world his take on the situation.
Considering the project has big names on it like Beyonce, Drake, Bon Iver, The Weeknd, James Blake and others – we’re not sure he wanted anything negative to affect the positive vibe of the album (and him wanting to move forward).
Btw… bundles are expected to count for Travis Scott… his range currently is about 500K first week overall (Bundles included)
